Yes, firewood is includet and you find it in the changing room.

How long does a sauna session last?

A standard sauna session lasts three hours, including the time for heating.

Is the sauna available for groups or private events?

To have the sauna all to yourself, you must book all 12 available places (Please note that if there are less than 12 slots avaliable, someone has already booked for that session).

How does the locking system work?

After booking, you will receive a unique key code, by email, which allows you to open the Igloohome keybox 3 - which hangs by the sauna door. Inside the key box you will find the key to the padlock.

Do I have to clean the sauna after use?

In line with our rules of use, the sauna must be left in the condition in which you found it. We offer green soap and a squeegee for easy cleaning. Please mop the water on the floor out the front door and wash over the benches.

Is the sauna hot when I arrive?

No, the sauna is self-service and it is your responsibility to heat it up. This helps to keep costs down, and makes Ulvik Sauna one of the most affordable options in Western Norway.

What is the age limit for using the Sauna?

The sauna can be used alone by people aged 16 and over. Persons under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult over the age of 18.

Are there shower and changing facilities available?

Laugarstovo offers a simple and authentic experience with a changing room and access to clean, fresh sea water. There are no shower facilities available. Norway has some of the worlds most clean seawater.

I have completed an order but did not receive the code. What should I do?

First of all, check your spam folder as the code may have ended up there. If you still can't find it, please contact us via the chat on the website and we will immediately send you a new code.

How do I proceed to reserve a sauna session?

Accepted Answer

To reserve a session, navigate to our booking calendar on the front page of the website. Choose the session that suits you best and click "Book". You will then be asked to fill out a form and complete the payment. After payment, you will receive a code and further information from us.
